Job description
The Yard Hostler plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective transportation of trailers and containers within the yard, facilitating both loading and unloading processes. Responsibilities include maneuvering a spotter truck, conducting inspections on equipment, and collaborating with warehouse personnel to ensure an orderly yard environment. Ideal applicants should possess a high school diploma or GED, along with a minimum of one year of experience operating a yard hostler or heavy machinery. A valid California driver’s license is required, as is the capability to undertake physically demanding work in varying outdoor weather conditions.
