Job description
**Yard Hostler**
The Yard Hostler’s primary responsibility is to ensure the safe and effective maneuvering of trailers and containers within the yard to facilitate loading and unloading activities. This position includes tasks such as aligning trailers at dock doors, conducting inspections of equipment, and keeping the yard organized in accordance with safety standards. Applicants must possess a high school diploma or GED and have a minimum of one year’s experience driving a yard hostler or heavy machinery. A valid driver’s license for California is necessary, along with the capability to operate outdoors in various weather conditions.
