Job Summary
The 2nd Shift Production Supervisor at Hormel Foods plays a pivotal role in managing the production processes within the plant. This position entails overseeing team members and ensuring efficient operations, all while promoting a culture of safety and high-quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the production team during the second shift.
- Ensure adherence to plant processes and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with the assistant manager and other staff to optimize workflow.
- Support and develop team members to enhance productivity and performance.
- Monitor and report on production metrics and performance standards.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent; an Associate’s Degree is preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities and effective communication skills.
- Willingness to participate in a 6-month operational training program.
- Previous experience in a production or supervisory role is advantageous.
