Job Summary
The Senior Specialist is responsible for overseeing the planning, design, and initial technical setup of capital projects focused on small molecule and high potency API facilities. This role involves working closely with various cross-functional teams and external vendors to ensure that projects align with safety, cost, and schedule goals.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and design phases for capital projects within API facilities.
- Oversee the technical startup processes of projects to ensure effective implementation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and vendors to achieve project objectives.
- Ensure that all project deliverables adhere to safety standards and budget constraints.
- Manage project timelines to ensure that schedules are met.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, or an equivalent applied life sciences qualification.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech sectors.
- Strong expertise in API manufacturing processes and equipment lifecycle management.
