Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Senior Marine Structural Engineer to join COWI in Seattle, Washington. This role is primarily onsite, aimed at enhancing our projects related to marine structures, bridges, tunnels, and other significant civil engineering works.
Responsibilities
- Design and analyze marine structures ensuring compliance with safety and engineering standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative solutions for complex marine engineering challenges.
- Prepare technical documentation and reports associated with projects.
- Oversee projects from conception through to completion, ensuring quality and timeliness.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on best practices in marine structural engineering.
- Engage in client communications and stakeholder interactions to ensure project requirements are met effectively.
Qualifications
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is mandatory.
- Extensive experience in marine structural engineering or related civil engineering fields.
- Proficiency in using relevant engineering software and tools for analysis and design.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the capacity to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal, to interact with clients and project teams.
