Job Summary
The position of Travel Nurse RN – Registered Nurse First Assistant is available in Pittsfield, Oregon. This role is crucial for providing high-quality nursing care and assisting in surgical procedures under the guidance of a supervising physician, contributing to patient well-being and recovery.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgical interventions.
- Assist surgeons and other medical staff during procedures, ensuring a sterile environment.
- Monitor patient vitals and progress throughout the surgical process.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and healthcare regulations.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Oregon.
- Experience in a surgical setting as a Registered Nurse First Assistant is preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to respond swiftly to patient needs.
- Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities.
- Willingness to work in a rotating shift schedule of 5 days a week, 8 hours per day.
- Ability to commit to a contract duration of 13 weeks.
