Job Summary
The Radiographer will play an essential role in performing imaging examinations to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This position requires the use of advanced imaging technologies and techniques to obtain high-quality images while maintaining patient safety and comfort.
Responsibilities
- Conduct various imaging procedures such as X-rays, CT scans, and MRI examinations.
- Ensure the proper operation of imaging equipment and maintain a sterile environment.
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort.
- Analyze imaging results and collaborate with medical professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses.
- Adhere to safety regulations and protocols to protect patients and staff from unnecessary exposure to radiation.
- Maintain detailed records of imaging procedures and patient information.
Qualifications
- Valid certification as a radiologic technologist or equivalent qualification.
- Experience in operating imaging equipment and performing diagnostic procedures.
- Strong understanding of anatomy, radiographic principles, and patient care.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
