Job Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) for General Surgery is a vital role located in Enfield, Connecticut, requiring an onsite work arrangement. The RN will provide comprehensive nursing services in collaboration with a provider group and visiting nurse services, playing a significant part in patient care during surgical procedures.
Responsibilities
- Ensure adherence to the five medication rights to maintain patient safety.
- Utilize appropriate techniques to assist in surgical procedures and interventions.
- Play an active role in implementing corrective actions as necessary during surgery.
- Maintain an up-to-date Registered Nurse license in the State of Connecticut.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in surgical nursing or labor and delivery is highly preferred.
- Current and valid Registered Nurse license in Connecticut.
