Job Summary
The New York office of Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP is seeking a skilled Senior Systems Engineer to enhance our technical team. This position will focus on implementing Hyper-V replica for effective disaster recovery and ensuring robust business continuity. The selected candidate will play a critical role in transitioning servers from VMware while also facilitating the movement of various objects weighing up to and exceeding 25 lbs.
Responsibilities
- Implement Hyper-V replica technology to support disaster recovery initiatives.
- Ensure business continuity through strategic systems engineering practices.
- Oversee the conversion of servers from VMware to Hyper-V.
- Assist in managing the physical logistics of tech equipment, including moving objects of varying weights.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in systems engineering, particularly with Hyper-V and VMware.
- Strong understanding of disaster recovery processes and business continuity planning.
- Ability to handle physical tasks involving the lifting and moving of heavy equipment.
