Job Summary
The Asphalt Plant Operator is responsible for the efficient operation of the asphalt production facility. This role involves overseeing the manufacturing process to ensure high-quality asphalt is produced while adhering to safety and environmental regulations.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and control the asphalt mixing process to maintain quality standards.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental policies.
- Manage raw material inventory and assist in procurement as needed.
- Prepare daily production reports and communicate findings to management.
- Assist with training new employees on plant operations and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus.
- Previous experience operating asphalt plants or similar industrial equipment.
- Strong understanding of asphalt production processes and equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and follow directives.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
