Job Summary
The position of Senior Radar Systems Engineer (SETA) focuses on the development and support of advanced radar systems within the Spaceborne GEOINT sector. This role is based in Chantilly, Virginia, and requires a specialized understanding of engineering principles as they pertain to radar technology. The position is full-time and demands working onsite.
Responsibilities
- Engage in the analysis and design of radar systems for spaceborne applications.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance system capabilities.
- Provide expertise in systems engineering processes to ensure optimal performance of radar technologies.
- Support technical evaluations and system testing efforts.
- Contribute to the documentation and reporting of project progress and challenges.
- Utilize extensive experience to mentor junior engineers within the team.
Qualifications
- A minimum of nine (9) years of relevant professional experience or a Master’s degree complemented by at least seven (7) years of related experience.
- Strong background in radar system engineering and related technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Capability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts.
