Job Summary
The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for delivering respiratory care within a hospital environment. This includes administering treatments, managing ventilators, conducting patient assessments, and providing emergency respiratory assistance. Flexibility to work at various facilities as needed is essential for candidates.
Responsibilities
- Administer respiratory treatments and interventions.
- Manage ventilators and provide support during emergencies.
- Conduct assessments of patients to determine respiratory needs.
- Float to different facilities as required.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of relevant experience.
- CRT or RRT credentials are acceptable.
- Active licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in Ohio is mandatory upon application.
- Current certifications in NBRC and AHA BLS are required.
- Availability to work on weekends as necessary.
