Job Summary
The CNC Machine Operator is responsible for efficiently operating and monitoring CNC machines to produce high-quality parts in accordance with specifications. This role demands a keen attention to detail and adherence to safety practices while maintaining productivity standards throughout the 10-hour shift.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machines, ensuring that they run at optimal levels.
- Monitor machine operations, making adjustments as needed to maintain quality and efficiency.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of machines to minimize downtime.
- Inspect products for accuracy, adhering to the precise specifications outlined in the production schedule.
- Document production data and maintain records of machine work and operations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in machining or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience operating CNC machinery and understanding machining processes.
- Familiarity with blueprints, technical drawings, and precision measuring instruments.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform tasks with high levels of accuracy.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
