Job Summary
The Technical Program Manager is responsible for overseeing the complete portfolio related to Supercomputing infrastructure. This includes managing the coordination of datacenter construction, the initiation of clusters, and ensuring smooth production operations. The role demands the establishment of operational frameworks that sync up with Microsoft’s Azure infrastructure delivery strategy, guaranteeing that capacity is both available and functional for AI-related tasks.
Responsibilities
- Lead the comprehensive management of Supercomputing infrastructure projects from conception to execution.
- Coordinate efforts across various teams involved in datacenter construction, cluster initialization, and operations.
- Create and implement operating procedures to align overall strategy with infrastructure delivery.
- Ensure that infrastructure capacity meets the requirements for AI workload deployment.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in technical program management or in the fields of infrastructure engineering and large-scale distributed systems.
- Proven technical expertise in AI and High-Performance Computing (HPC) infrastructure.
- Ability to navigate and implement complex initiatives across different organizations without having formal authority.
