Job Summary
This role is focused on conducting standard diagnostic EEG tests along with specialized studies, while recognizing artifacts and any unusual clinical symptoms. The technician will assist in evaluating patient conditions, gathering quality assurance information, and ensuring the proper upkeep of all medical instruments involved in the procedures.
Responsibilities
- Conduct standard diagnostic EEG tests and specialized studies.
- Identify artifacts and abnormal clinical presentations during tests.
- Assist in the evaluation of patient cases.
- Collect and maintain quality assurance data.
- Ensure that all medical equipment is properly maintained and functional.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Graduate from an accredited EEG Technology program.
- ABRET Registered EEG Tech certification.
- A minimum of one year of relevant professional experience.
