Job Summary
The Staff Substation Structural Engineer will be dedicated to working onsite in Denver, Colorado, focusing on the structural aspects of utility-scale electrical substations and renewable energy projects. This role serves a crucial function in supervising structural activities and assisting in the procurement processes necessary for project execution.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the structural design and implementation of utility-scale electrical substations.
- Assist with procurement activities related to structural engineering projects.
- Ensure compliance with relevant engineering standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance project outcomes.
- Supervise and mentor junior structural engineers and technical staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering or related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
- Experience in structural engineering, particularly in electrical infrastructure projects.
- Strong background in renewable energy projects is advantageous.
- Ability to pass a criminal and civil background check, as well as drug screening.
