Job Summary
The Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) for the Operating Room (OR) in a seasonal capacity will play a crucial role at the Wellington Regional Medical Center, a 235-bed acute care facility in Wellington, Florida. This position involves performing essential surgical technician duties, emphasizing teamwork and participation in process enhancement within the surgical environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist the surgical team in various procedures by preparing and maintaining the sterile field.
- Ensure that all necessary surgical instruments and supplies are available and functioning for each procedure.
- Collaborate effectively with surgeons and nursing staff to ensure optimal patient care during surgeries.
- Participate in decision-making processes to improve operational efficiency in the OR.
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential is required.
