Job Summary
The position being offered is for a Travel Nurse RN, specifically a Registered Nurse First Assistant, based in Bakersfield, Oregon. This role requires the nurse to work onsite, delivering advanced nursing care and support during surgeries and other medical procedures.
Responsibilities
- Assist surgeons and other medical staff during procedures.
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative care to patients.
- Ensure compliance with health regulations and maintain patient safety standards.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to facilitate optimal patient care.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Oregon.
- Demonstrated experience as a First Assistant in surgical settings.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to following best practices in patient care and safety.
- Availability for rotating shifts across a 5-day workweek, totaling 40 hours per week.
