Job Summary
The primary focus of this role is to engineer, implement, and sustain secure and scalable backend solutions utilizing Python and Neo4j. Additionally, it encompasses the management of Kubernetes clusters within the AWS environment. The position emphasizes maintaining software integrity and security through thorough testing, code evaluations, troubleshooting, and adherence to compliance guidelines, all while fostering collaboration and mentorship within the development team.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop backend systems tailored for security and scalability.
- Utilize Python and Neo4j for system and application development.
- Oversee the management of Kubernetes clusters hosted on AWS.
- Implement rigorous testing and code review processes to ensure software quality.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot software issues effectively.
- Maintain compliance with security practices and guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members and provide mentorship to junior developers.
Qualifications
- Active security clearance with the requisite polygraph.
- Proficient in Python and Neo4j.
- Experience with Kubernetes and AWS environments.
- Background in secure systems development methodologies.
- Knowledge of CI/CD practices, monitoring, logging tools and graph algorithms.
- Familiarity with additional programming languages is advantageous.
- AWS Developer and Kubernetes certifications are preferred.
