Job Summary
The role involves taking charge of the onboarding, coaching, and development processes for drivers and helpers, ensuring consistent communication and recognizing their professional aspirations. You will also be responsible for promoting a culture of safety within the workplace.
Responsibilities
- Lead the onboarding and training of drivers and helpers.
- Support drivers in their professional growth and development.
- Maintain open lines of communication regarding career objectives.
- Encourage safe workplace practices and conduct investigations into any injuries or incidents.
- Oversee the maintenance and auditing of regulatory and route-operation documentation.
- Regularly visit customer locations to tackle safety and service-related matters.
Qualifications
- An accredited associate degree or an accredited high school diploma coupled with a minimum of two years of relevant work experience.
- Legal eligibility to work in the country of the position.
- A valid driver’s license is mandatory upon hire.
- Preference will be given to candidates who have completed the WM Operations Manager Trainee program.
