Job Summary
The role involves the design, development, and enhancement of cloud-based data pipelines, ETL/ELT workflows, and data models. The primary focus is on ensuring data quality, performance, reliability, and seamless integration across various systems. This position requires collaboration with energy trading and cross-functional teams to convert business needs into effective technical solutions while overseeing product backlogs and roadmaps, and enhancing data architecture, governance, and cloud capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes in a cloud environment.
- Ensure the quality and reliability of data across different systems.
- Collaborate with teams to align business needs with technical solutions.
- Manage product backlogs and plan roadmaps for data-related projects.
- Enhance data governance and architecture within cloud systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of five years of experience in data engineering.
- At least two years of experience in energy trading, energy markets, asset management, or energy operations.
- Proficient in Python and SQL.
- Experience with cloud platforms and data governance practices.
- Ability to manage business requirements and work collaboratively with stakeholders.
