Job Summary
The role of the Registered Nurse involves delivering hands-on patient care by supporting physicians during examinations, treatments, and various procedures. Additionally, the nurse will be tasked with recording patient data in the electronic health record (EHR) system and providing education to patients regarding their health status and necessary follow-up care.
Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures.
- Document relevant patient information in the EHR accurately.
- Educate patients about their health conditions and aftercare instructions.
Qualifications
- Possess an active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the state of practice or a compact nursing license.
- Previous experience in a clinical or outpatient environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with the EPIC system is advantageous.
