Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Family Medicine team at Sanford Health in Clear Lake, South Dakota. This role involves working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for patients with both acute and chronic medical conditions.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Assess and manage patient health by diagnosing medical conditions.
- Prescribe medications and treatment regimens for patients.
- Ensure high standards of care and patient education concerning health management.
- Participate in continuous professional development and educational activities.
Qualifications
- Completion of a recognized Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse, along with Nurse Practitioner credentials.
- Education from an accredited institution recognized by the Collegiate of Nursing Education or the National League for Nursing.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and colleagues.
- Ability to handle a variety of medical situations in fast-paced environments.
