Job Summary
The Travel Nurse RN – Registered Nurse First Assistant is an onsite position based in Bakersfield, California. This role is crucial for delivering high-quality patient care while supporting surgical teams in a dynamic healthcare environment. The position offers competitive weekly pay and involves working a rotating schedule.
Responsibilities
- Assist surgical teams as a Registered Nurse First Assistant.
- Deliver exceptional care to patients preoperatively, intraoperatively, and postoperatively.
- Work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Monitor and manage patient vital signs and overall condition.
- Participate in a rotating shift schedule, typically 5 days a week, 8 hours per day.
Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Experience as a First Assistant in a surgical setting preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
