Job Summary
The Certification and Test Engineer is responsible for guiding the testing, compliance, and certification processes related to battery energy storage systems. In this capacity, the engineer will work closely with engineering teams and labs to ensure that products meet safety and performance standards during both the development and production stages.
Responsibilities
- Lead testing and certification processes for battery energy storage systems.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure compliance with safety and performance standards.
- Verify product safety throughout the product lifecycle.
- Facilitate communication between laboratories and engineering teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related discipline.
- 3-5 years of experience in testing related to battery energy storage systems, power electronics, or batteries.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant UL standards.
- Strong technical documentation and communication skills.
