Job Summary
The Litigation Paralegal plays a crucial role in providing support to attorneys in the management and execution of litigation cases. This position involves various tasks such as preparing legal documents, organizing case files, and assisting in the trial preparation process, ensuring that all legal procedures are followed accurately and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys with case preparation, including the drafting and filing of legal documents.
- Manage and organize case files, ensuring all relevant information is readily accessible.
- Conduct legal research to support ongoing litigation efforts.
- Coordinate with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in litigation.
- Prepare trial materials and assist in trial proceedings as needed.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or paralegal certificate; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience in litigation support within a law firm or legal setting is advantageous.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to conduct research and analyze legal documents effectively.
