Job Summary
The primary focus of this position is to oversee and deliver nursing care to a designated patient group and their families. This involves utilizing personal judgment as well as partnering with physicians, healthcare teams, and support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Administer nursing care while exercising independent judgment.
- Collaborate with doctors and healthcare specialists to optimize patient care.
- Delegate and assess nursing tasks, ensuring effective care delivery.
- Monitor the progress of patients and prepare them for discharge.
- Engage in shared decision-making with patients and families regarding their care.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Active Michigan Registered Nurse license.
- Certification in Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association.
- A Bachelor of Science in Nursing is highly desirable.
