Job Summary
The Leasing Consultant plays a vital role in ensuring maximum occupancy of rental properties by leading apartment tours, overseeing leasing documentation, and implementing successful sales strategies along with resident retention initiatives. This position also involves addressing resident inquiries, systematizing property files, and assisting in the collection of overdue rents.
Responsibilities
- Conduct guided tours of apartments for prospective residents.
- Manage and maintain leasing paperwork and documentation efficiently.
- Implement effective sales techniques and resident retention programs to uphold high occupancy levels.
- Address and resolve resident requests and concerns promptly.
- Organize and maintain property files for easy access and management.
- Assist in the collection process of delinquent rents.
Qualifications
- Strong sales abilities and proficiency in closing deals.
- Familiarity with local market trends affecting rental properties.
- Experience with property management software, specifically RealPage or One-Site, is preferred.
- A college degree and prior experience in leasing activities are advantageous but not mandatory.
