Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our outpatient specialty gynecology practice. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality healthcare services to patients, focusing on gynecological conditions and promoting women’s health. This role involves the management of patient care with an emphasis on preventative measures, education, and the treatment of diverse GYN issues.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient examinations and gather comprehensive health histories.
- Diagnose and formulate treatment plans for gynecological disorders.
- Prescribe medications and other therapies as needed in alignment with patient care plans.
- Educate patients on health practices, preventive care, and treatment options.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Participate in patient follow-up care and monitor progress for ongoing treatment plans.
Qualifications
- Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Active state licensure to practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Previous experience in a gynecological or women’s health setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an emphasis on patient care.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
