Job Summary
The University Medical Associates (UMA) is seeking a qualified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its Hospital Medicine team. This role requires on-site presence in Eastern Kentucky, 41622. Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program, ready to take on responsibilities associated with providing high-quality medical care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough physical examinations of patients.
- Interpret radiological and laboratory results to aid in diagnosis.
- Utilize diagnostic tools and methods to support patient care.
- Collaborate closely with medical staff to develop patient treatment plans.
- Provide follow-up care and monitor patient progress post-treatment.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program or Nurse Practitioner program.
- Current certification as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or equivalent.
- Strong clinical skills in physical examination and diagnosis.
- Ability to analyze and interpret diagnostic test results effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with patients and the medical team.
