Job Summary
The role of a DevOps Systems Engineer is crucial within our organization, primarily focused on implementing and managing DevOps practices that enhance operational efficiency in our software development processes. The position necessitates a current TS/SCI CI Poly security clearance at the time of hiring, ensuring the candidate meets security protocols for sensitive environments.
Responsibilities
- Implement and oversee development and operational workflows in line with DevOps best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a streamlined software development lifecycle.
- Monitor system performances and troubleshoot any issues that arise during deployment.
- Automate manual processes to improve efficiency and reduce the potential for human error.
- Maintain security standards and protocols throughout the development process.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree with over 9 years of pertinent experience, or a Master’s degree accompanied by 7 years of applicable experience, or a PhD with a lesser extent of related expertise.
- Strong understanding of DevOps methodologies and a proven track record of successful implementation.
- Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
