Job Summary
The R&D Engineer is responsible for spearheading the enhancement and development of products by engaging with diverse teams to establish requirements, create designs, and develop prototypes. This role also involves overseeing research initiatives, conducting tests, and offering technical assistance to various departments such as Manufacturing and Quality Control.
Responsibilities
- Lead product development and improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ascertain project requirements.
- Design and prototype new product concepts.
- Oversee research projects and manage testing protocols.
- Provide technical support to Manufacturing and Quality Control departments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Materials Science; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant engineering experience.
- Proficient in 3D CAD software, particularly Solidworks.
- Strong knowledge of plastics and materials processing techniques.
