Job Summary
The position of Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room Circulator (OR/CIRC) is available in Indianapolis, Indiana. This role requires the nurse to function as the primary coordinator in the operating room setting, ensuring that surgical procedures are executed efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage the operating room environment for surgical procedures.
- Ensure patient safety and address any immediate healthcare needs during operations.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to facilitate optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain and manage surgical instruments and equipment before, during, and after surgeries.
- Document patient care and procedures accurately in accordance with healthcare protocols.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Experience in an operating room setting, particularly as a circulator.
- Strong understanding of sterile techniques and surgical procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team.
- Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
