Job Summary
The Therapy Technician plays a crucial role in supporting occupational and physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients of all age groups, from infants to adults. This position focuses on facilitating patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of therapy services.
Responsibilities
- Assist therapists in executing patient treatment programs.
- Provide direct care to patients during therapy sessions.
- Ensure proper maintenance and operation of therapy equipment.
- Coordinate and schedule patient transportation as needed.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation related to patient treatments.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Experience in working with children is preferred.
- Basic life support certification is desirable, or willingness to undertake CPR training.
