Job Summary
The position available is for a full-time OR Tech II (Surgical Technologist) located in Kansas City, Missouri. This role is within an acute care facility that offers extensive surgical services, focusing on delivering patient-centered care while ensuring the maintenance of sterile techniques during surgical procedures.
Responsibilities
- Maintain sterile technique during surgical procedures.
- Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and provide assistance accordingly.
- Contribute to a patient-focused surgical environment.
- Assist in the preparation of the operating room and the necessary instruments for surgery.
- Support the surgical team with any technical needs during the operation.
Qualifications
- Prior experience as a Room Technologist is essential.
- Completion of the Room Technician (CORT) program is required.
- Strong understanding of surgical processes and sterile techniques.
- Ability to work well in a dynamic, fast-paced surgical environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
