Job Summary
The position of Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the OBGYN department focuses on delivering comprehensive healthcare services in Salem, Oregon. This role entails conducting diagnostic studies, managing medication orders, and carrying out health assessments under the guidance of a supervising physician. The practitioner will be tasked with developing and implementing patient care plans while ensuring compliance with state licensing requirements.
Responsibilities
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations and interpret results.
- Order necessary medications and treatments for patients.
- Perform health assessments and monitor ongoing patient care.
- Work collaboratively with the physician to formulate care strategies.
- Assist in the development of NP/PA Float protocols as needed.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse License (Oregon) required within 6 months of hiring.
- Current certification as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
- Experience in women’s health or related field is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
