Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and certified Surgical Technologist / OR Technician (CST) for our facility located in Pittsburg, California. This role is crucial in providing support in a dynamic, patient-centered operating room environment. The ideal candidate will possess the necessary skills and certifications to assist in the preparation and maintenance of surgical instruments and sterile supplies, ensuring optimal conditions for surgical procedures.
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing and organizing the operating room for surgical procedures.
- Ensure the availability and sterility of surgical instruments and equipment.
- Work in conjunction with the healthcare team to maintain a sterile environment throughout the surgery.
- Support surgeons and other medical personnel during operations.
- Be involved in post-operative care, including cleaning and restocking the operating room.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) is required.
- Experience working in an operating room or surgical setting preferred.
- Strong understanding of surgical instruments and sterile techniques.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
