Job Summary
The Sterile Processing Educator plays a crucial role in developing and delivering educational programs for staff involved in sterile processing. This position ensures adherence to standards of cleanliness and safety in the preparation, sterilization, and distribution of surgical instruments and medical supplies.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement training programs for sterile processing personnel.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of educational initiatives and make improvements as necessary.
- Provide guidance on best practices in sterilization and medical supply handling.
- Keep up-to-date with regulatory changes and industry standards.
- Collaborate with management to identify learning needs and develop related content.
Qualifications
- Experience in sterile processing with a strong background in education or training.
- Certification in sterile processing technology is preferred.
