Job Summary
The Lead Laboratory Technical Assistant is responsible for supervising laboratory assistants and handling specimen collection for diverse patient groups. This role also includes the management of laboratory data systems to ensure the precision of ordering, cancellation, and billing for all laboratory accounts.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of laboratory assistants.
- Perform specimen collections from patients across various demographics.
- Manage laboratory data systems to maintain accurate records of orders and billing.
- Ensure compliance with laboratory policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Completion of six months of clinical phlebotomy training or two years of applicable laboratory experience.
- Strong communication abilities are essential.
