Job Summary
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing various accounting functions within the organization, ensuring compliance and enhancing financial processes. This position is based in Chicago, Illinois, and requires an onsite presence. The accountant must have experience in public accounting or general ledger accounting, as well as a strong understanding of financial statement preparation and closing processes.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all phases of the closing processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements to present to management and external stakeholders.
- Evaluate and strengthen internal controls, developing plans for improvement as needed.
