Job Summary
The Tax Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the organization’s tax compliance and reporting requirements. This position demands a detail-oriented individual who will analyze and manage various tax-related processes while ensuring adherence to all applicable regulations. The Tax Analyst will provide valuable insights to aid in strategic tax planning and contribute to the overall financial objectives of the company.
Responsibilities
- Perform tax research to assist in compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws.
- Prepare and review tax returns ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
- Assist in the development of tax strategies to minimize the company’s tax liabilities.
- Collaborate with external auditors and tax consultants as necessary.
- Maintain current knowledge of tax regulations and changes in legislation.
- Support the finance team in preparing and analyzing tax provisions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience in tax preparation and compliance, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
