Job Summary
The Mechanical Engineer 2 position is open in Goleta, California, requiring a full-time onsite commitment. This role focuses on the development and improvement of mechanical systems, particularly in packaging and assembly processes, from the initial concept through to final execution. The engineer will be instrumental in conducting Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to evaluate various parameters such as structural integrity, modal behavior, and thermal performance of designs.
Responsibilities
- Engage in the design and refinement of mechanical systems for packaging and assembly.
- Conduct Finite Element Analysis to assess structural, modal, and thermal characteristics of products.
- Collaborate with electrical and mechanical engineers to ensure cohesive project development.
- Transform conceptual designs into functional prototypes that meet quality standards.
- Provide insights through simulations to enhance product reliability and performance.
Qualifications
