Job Summary
We are currently looking for meticulous Surgical Technologists to become part of our dedicated team in the Operating Room (OR) at our Glens Falls, New York location. As a vital member of the OR team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a sterile environment while working collaboratively with healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the setup of surgical instruments and equipment, ensuring proper functionality.
- Prepare the operating room by organizing sterile supplies and maintaining cleanliness.
- Support surgeons and other medical staff during surgical procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials.
- Monitor and anticipate the needs of the surgical team throughout the operation.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and sterility practices at all times.
- Assist in patient positioning and preparation for surgeries.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist is preferred.
- Proven experience in a surgical setting is an advantage.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
