Cape Fox Facilities Services is looking for a dedicated Biologist to become part of our team in Bethesda, Maryland, contributing to the National Institutes of Health (NIH) initiatives. This role involves implementing and monitoring biosafety protocols at the Twinbrook 3 Insectary Facility (TW3-IF), ensuring a safe environment for research activities.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and enforce biosafety standards at the Twinbrook 3 Insectary Facility.
- Collaborate with research teams to maintain compliance with safety regulations.
- Conduct assessments and monitor conditions to ensure the highest safety measures are in place.
- Provide training and guidance on biosafety practices to personnel.
Qualifications
- A degree in biology or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in biosafety or laboratory safety is an advantage.
