Job Summary
The Senior Clinical Research Associate specializing in Psychiatry will play a pivotal role in the management and monitoring of clinical trials within the central region of the United States. This position is designed for a highly skilled professional who is committed to promoting the integrity and quality of clinical research in the psychiatric field. The individual will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and the successful execution of clinical study protocols.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the initiation, ongoing monitoring, and closeout of clinical trial sites.
- Ensure that clinical trials are conducted in adherence to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and applicable regulations.
- Conduct site visits to assess the performance and progress of clinical studies.
- Collaborate with investigators and study teams to facilitate effective communication and resolve any issues that arise.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to all studies.
- Assist in the training and mentoring of junior staff members and new associates.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific field; advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience as a Clinical Research Associate, particularly in psychiatric studies.
- Strong knowledge of clinical trial regulations and guidelines.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
