Job Summary
The position of Expert DevOps Engineer is essential for bridging development and operations, aimed at enhancing the deployment pipeline and improving system reliability. The individual in this role will be responsible for streamlining processes, automating workflows, and ensuring the smooth integration of development and operations teams.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement automated solutions and CI/CD pipelines.
- Perform system troubleshooting, performance tuning, and capacity planning to enhance application and infrastructure reliability.
- Develop, manage, and monitor deployments using various automation tools.
- Design and maintain cloud infrastructure and services to support business needs.
- Ensure robust security practices are integrated within the DevOps lifecycle.
- Participate in code and design reviews to maintain quality standards and share best practices.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members on DevOps principles and techniques.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role within an agile environment.
- Strong knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby.
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or Ansible.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with various teams.
