We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Urgent Care team in Folsom, CA. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients presenting with acute and urgent health conditions.
- Develop and implement care plans, ensuring timely follow-up and documentation of patient progress.
- Administer appropriate treatments and medications as per established protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
- Educate patients and their families about health issues, prevention strategies, and treatment options.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license or Physician Assistant certification in the state of California.
- Experience in urgent care or emergency medicine is highly preferred.
- Strong clinical skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively and handle a dynamic work environment.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required.
