Conduct independent research, give a lunchtime talk, and participate in the Center’s intellectual life by attending talks and discussions. Fellows must reside in Pittsburgh, make regular use of their offices, and participate for the full semester or academic year. Applicants must hold a doctoral degree, typically in philosophy, history, or philosophy of science, or have an established position in the professional philosophy of science community. Doctorates in other fields may be considered in special cases, but applicants with those degrees have lower chances of acceptance.
