Job Summary
The Surgical Technologist – OR plays a crucial role in assisting during surgical procedures at the operating room within the Rose Medical Center in Denver, Colorado. This position is dedicated to ensuring efficient and safe surgical experiences by providing support throughout the surgical process.
Responsibilities
- Assist the surgical team during operations by preparing and supplying the necessary instruments and equipment.
- Ensure that all surgical instruments are properly sterilized and organized before and after procedures.
- Contribute to maintaining a safe and sterile environment for patients and staff in the operating room.
- Support the surgical team by anticipating needs and providing necessary assistance during surgeries.
- Participate in the overall care and safety of patients throughout their surgical experience.
Qualifications
- Experience as a Surgical Technologist, preferably in an Operating Room setting.
- Knowledge of surgical instruments and aseptic techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced surgical environment.
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist is preferred.
