Job Summary
The Respiratory Care Intern is responsible for delivering both diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory care, working under the direct oversight of licensed practitioners in the field. This role is essential in supporting patient health and safety through various clinical tasks.
Responsibilities
- Conducting clinical procedures related to respiratory care.
- Maintaining and ensuring the functionality of respiratory care equipment.
- Documenting all aspects of patient care accurately.
- Assisting in cardiopulmonary resuscitation efforts.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a CoARC accredited Respiratory Care program.
- Completion of at least one semester of clinical rotations is required.
- Certification in CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) is mandatory.
- Must possess necessary state clearances for the role.
